that I offer

So what do I say about myself.....

I'm a down to earth individual who believes in getting value for money, and ensuring that those around me do to. Not a fan of bureaucracy for bureaucracy's own sake.  Mantra: Treat those around you as you would wish to be treated and always strive to do one's best in all endeavours.  Pride in one's work is not a sin where it is built on competence.

The CV bit.....

I could bore you with the full 5 pages of the CV... but lets not.  So here is a synopsis of the many years of dedicated administrative excellence that I have brought to the workplace.

Work ethic....

My abilities through experience have been held in high regard by MD, CEO and senior directors alike.

With a natural Managerial bias, I am an extremely efficient, organised and diligent person (team player or unsupervised), using one’s own initiative and demonstrating leadership qualities (as appropriate). With a strong work ethic, I tend to attract work often achieving standards higher than expectations. With a diverse array of office based skills, I am ideally suited to take this and your business forward.   I thrive on a varied day, willing to lend a hand where necessary. I understand how an efficient office works from the support to the delivery. The importance of building successful team within an harmonious framework. Building good customer relationships while delivering expectations.

Open to considering an Admin based role, Ideally I'm looking to attract roles that encompass the range of my proven skill base yet offers me the opportunity to expand my knowledge. A role that will challenge and, where my input is appreciated.

Industries worked in since 1984 (admin fits all).....

Legal / Education - FE and Secondary / Publishing / Medical / Environmental / IT Security / Transport infrastructure /

Specialist Science Media Solutions / Construction

Past Roles undertaken.....

Data Management - Build; migrate; cleanse and maintain

Administrative Roles - Event Organization; Short course management; Office Compliance - H&S and Environmental; HR; System design and build;

Purchasing, Logistics and Shipping (domestic and international)

Why choose to become Self Employed?

Firstly, I believe my skills have a wider audience.  There are a lot of small companies/sole traders out there that deserve to succeed.  They cannot afford to take someone on as an employee, yet do not have the time to dedicate to the inevitable paperwork.  To utilise the services of a Virtual Assistant, either on an ad-hoc basis or the regular ongoing service, helps their business to grow as well as mine.

Secondly, it is a thing I have been considering for some time. Since the latest recession hit, I have been moving from contract to short term contract and the timing seemed right.  I have always applied myself to any role undertaken as if I was a Director of the company - long hours but without the reward.  Backed by one of my past employers with the promise of an on going contract, it was time for me to broaden my horizons and become that Director!
